MiCA transition
MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) is the European regulation governing crypto-assets across the European Union. Galeon has begun its MiCA compliance process: until it is complete, $GALEON purchases and new stakes are suspended on Atlantis.
What doesn't change
$GALEON remain their holders' property, no matter what. Balances, levels and rewards are preserved. Holders can unstake and withdraw their tokens whenever they like: there is no deadline.
What is paused on Atlantis
| Service | During the transition |
|---|---|
| Buying $GALEON by card | No longer available. $GALEON can be swapped on PancakeSwap, a decentralized exchange in which Galeon takes no part. |
| New stakes | Paused. |
| Deposits | Paused. |
| Atlantis shop | Paused. |
| GEMS | On hold. |
| Unstaking and withdrawals | Available at any time, without penalty. |
Staked $GALEON
Nothing changes: staked tokens belong to their holders. A feature lets them unlock and withdraw their tokens without penalty, even before the end of the lock-in period. The staking programs will reopen once Galeon completes its MiCA compliance.
How to withdraw $GALEON
- For staked tokens, unlock them in the Atlantis Vault.
- Use the withdrawal function to transfer them to a personal wallet.
Before any swap on PancakeSwap, always check the official contract address: 0x1d0Ac23F03870f768ca005c84cBb6FB82aa884fD.
When will the shop reopen?
As soon as Galeon completes its MiCA compliance, the shop and the staking programs will reopen as before. The reopening will be announced on the Galeon announcements channel.
