A simple version of the roadmap outlines Galeon's four major objectives to usher in the era of data-driven medicine:
Hospital services - Doctor House
Building a healthcare blockchain - Atlantis
Development and deployment of medical AI - I, Doctor
Population health management for entire countries - Da Vinci
The full version of the roadmap details these four objectives and specifies their interdependencies.
Galeon is building the latest generation of Electronic Health Record (EHR), the primary tool for healthcare professionals in hospitals.
Since 2016, Galeon has been deploying the gynecology and obstetrics specialty in hospitals.
In 2023, Galeon sells an Electronic Health Record (EHR) to a medium-sized hospital (MCO) and develops EHRs for specialized hospital departments, necessary steps to equip larger hospitals.
In 2024 (today), Galeon is building the EHR for a University Hospital.
Gradually, the EHRs of hospitals are interconnected to feed into the National Electronic Health Record of the States.
Galeon is building a DAO, a community platform for funding health research projects, funded by decentralized AI training (BSL®).
To achieve this, Galeon aligns the interests of a community of pioneers with the interests of hospitals.
The Galeon pioneers' community is a key element in building the new healthcare system.
Since 2022, Galeon has been gathering a community of innovators, caregivers, patients, investors, and recruited a team to build its platform.
Once the data becomes valuable (see dependencies on the complete roadmap), 50% of the created value will be dedicated to Galeon's DAO. This DAO, governed 50% by patients and 50% by pioneers ($GALEON holders), will finance nonprofit medical research. The funding flow of the DAO will increase with the implementation of BSL®, symbolized by the growing thickness of the light green line.
In addition to being places of care, hospitals are an essential link in the production of structured health data.
Since 2016, Galeon has been selling a set of essential services to hospitals (the Electronic Health Record, see Doctor House roadmap).
Since the deployment of the second hospital, Galeon has been building inter-hospital trust. The SaaS structure allows for the sharing of best practices among institutions that are often indifferent or even rivals in the same territory.
BSL® represents the culmination of the trustless sharing approach. Trusting the network will open up new revenue channels for hospitals.
The Buy Back & Burn mechanism helps to reduce the supply of the $GALEON token, which benefits token holders. This scarcity will intensify with BSL®, symbolized by the widening of the red line.
It is by developing its own AI that Galeon will prove the value of structured data.
In 2024, Galeon manages and structures hundreds of thousands of patient records. Thousands of structured records are added every month in hospitals where Galeon is deployed. In addition to OCR (text recognition and data structuring of old EHRs by Galeon), the first AI applications are currently being developed internally.
The success of the initial AI applications will pave the way for other generations of AI for hospitals:
Generative AI for medical reports
Recognition and detection AI for diagnostics through big data
And all other AI families for healthcare.
The success of the initial AI applications will also prove the value of health data structured by Galeon. This will open up the training platform to other companies and researchers through Blockchain Swarm Learning®.
The healthcare policy of a country can no longer be managed as it was in the 20th century.
Healthcare policy was managed by an administrative framework ranging from physicians to policymakers. This framework has become increasingly complex and cumbersome over time. The COVID crisis has highlighted its limitations: disconnection from reality, vulnerability to unverified information, lack of visibility, and lack of responsiveness.
That's why the most advanced governments in the world are seeking optimal solutions: Population Health Management (PHM).
PHM includes:
aggregation of anonymized health data from an entire territory: hospital data (Galeon's core business with Doctor House) and data from primary care,
automatic detection of major trends and weak signals,
automation of pandemic alerts, crises, etc.
decision support.
For large geographic regions, PHM includes controlled sharing of sensitive information between countries: a PHM for N countries.
